Emergency Youth Shelter

The Emergency Youth Shelter provides a short-term shelter for young people in Lethbridge facing challenges that prevent them from staying at home due to various reasons or those dealing with family or placement conflicts. Our goal is to offer a supportive and safe environment during these transitional periods.

Programs in the Lethbridge Community:

1. Family and Natural Supports: This program is dedicated to strengthening relationships between vulnerable young people and their families, with a specific focus on preventing, reducing, and ultimately ending homelessness. Through targeted support and intervention, we aim to create a foundation for stable family connections.

2. Crisis and Resource Support: Our Crisis and Resource Support program is available to young people, parents/guardians, and community professionals. Whether in need of immediate crisis assistance or seeking resource and referral information, our team is ready to provide support.

At the Emergency Youth Shelter, we understand the importance of providing a secure and caring space for young individuals in challenging situations. Our dedicated team is committed to offering assistance and support during their time of need.
