Why this matters

Over the past year, we’ve focused on adding comfy furniture, living plants, and a warm, welcoming environment. As you can imagine, sharing two bathrooms among six teenage boys is… well, challenging! This year’s goal is to raise $20,000 to upgrade those facilities, along with a backyard rejuvenation featuring a fire pit and space for community gatherings.

Your donations also help fund multi-day camping & fishing trips, mountain day trips, and personal touches like bedroom décor. These are vital opportunities for our young people to build confidence, community, and a sense of belonging.

A Story of Hope: Meet Jay

After experiencing unstable care placements and facing immense grief, Jay came to Altadore wary of trusting adults. Thanks to steadfast support and a newly renovated space, he found belonging, improved his mental health, and even played a big role in last year’s fundraiser. Today, he’s earning school credits, volunteering, and planning visits with family. Jay Is living proof of how a safe, nurturing home can change a young life.

What to expect

Together, we’ll make this house a true home

Thank you for believing in our vision for the Altadore Program. With your help, these young men can keep forging a path to independence, resilience, and hope. We look forward to seeing you on April 11 to make a real, lasting difference in their lives.
