Explore Classroom

Wood’s Homes’ EXPLORE classroom provides personalized day treatment programming in partnership with the Calgary Board of Education. It is located at our Inglewood Opportunity Hub.

The team consists of one full-time teacher and seven Wood’s Homes School Support Counsellors. Four of these School Support Counsellors are dedicated to 1-1 with students connected to Alberta Child and Family Services. These counsellors work closely with the teacher to develop plans for community-based learning opportunities and to provide instruction that supports students to thrive independently at home, in the community, and in the workplace.
